Alana Hoggart has trained with 12 Butoh Masters in Japan and Australia. She is currently completing a PhD in Theatre Performance at Monash University.
She is part of the Enviromental Performance Authority, directed by Stuart Grant and Peter Fraser; the Melbounre Butoh Ensemble; and also freelances as a performer and movement choreographer.
