The visual artists involved in Neon Laneway are some of Melbourne and Perth’s top urban aerosol artists. Each brings their incredible talent and own unique style of urban art to the project. With their mediums differing from free hand aerosol to intricately layered stencil art, the visual artists involved in Neon Laneway are award winning, internationally acclaimed artists.
The performance artists also come from differing backgrounds. Collectively they have trained extensively in Butoh, Physical Theatre, Circus, Suzuki Method of Actor Training, Mime, Clown, Contemporary Dance, Viewpoints, Contact Improvisation and Bodyweather. Ensemble members have trained with Sankaijuku, Batsheva Dance Company, Dairakudakan, Zen Zen Zo Physical Theatre and Born in a Taxi. They have completed courses at WAAPA, Lacoq, Mayor University, Monash University, The National Theatre Drama School, QUT and Ballarat Arts Academy. Ensemble members have performed all over Australia and on international stages.
